In the Spring of 2005 Amanda Gresham brought people to New Orleans on a 4 day Delta Music Experience steamboat trip to take in  it's history, roots, culture, cuisine and unique music that is the life of the city. As soon as it becomes possible, DME will once again cruise the mighty Mississippi on a Riverboat Adventure from New Orleans. 
 
Gresham is pleased to be expanding her market and will bring New Orleans to you by way of presenting the Delta Music Experience NOLA Northwest aboard the American West Steamboat Company's sternwheeler, Queen of the West. This magical riverboat adventure offers the opportunity to cruise with your favorite and soon to be favorite New Orleans musicians. You'll experience an intimate adventure full of performances, spontaneous jams, discussion groups, workshops, personal stories from these amazing musicians, autograph signings and shore excursions. These are just some of the all inclusive activities offered in the price of your DME trip.
 
This will be an intimate, festive, casual house-party atmosphere where you can interact with the artists whether relaxing in the lounge, socializing at the bar, enjoying the vistas off the deck, or watching other artists perform. Each night at dinner the artists will dine with us, hosting their own table. Seeing shows, being with your friends, and finding a place to be comfortable will be easy as this will be an intimate adventure limited to approximately 144 passengers in 72 staterooms.
 
Each sternwheeler reflects incomparable attention to detail. You'll find comfortable public spaces, state-of-the-art technology and unique performance venues like the Calliope Bar and Grill, the Paddlewheel Lounge and the elegant Columbia Showroom. All rooms are equipped with modern amenities and offer sweeping views.  Most cabins feature private verandahs, spacious bathrooms, and televisions with VCRs or DVD players.
